Eight-strong squad announced for 2024 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships

British Cycling has today announced the eight-strong squad that will represent Great Britain in the 2024 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships semi-finals on Friday 6 September 2024.

Representing Great Britain in the women’s race will be Lou Bates, Charlotte Colclough, Maria Holdcroft, Natalie Stevenson and Hollie Burgin. In the men’s race, Andy Nichols, Thomas Perren and Ross Fawcett will be racing for a place in the final.

The semi-final event will see 150 of the best e-racers in the world battle it out over two stages – ‘The Strategist’ and ‘All Out’ – which will take place on the MyWhoosh platform for the first time. The semi-finals will cover two of the same stages as the live final. The races will be points-based, with the top 20 rider qualifying for the live final in Abu Dhabi on Saturday 26 October.
