My coaching philosophy is to develop riders confidence and skills on a mountain bike through specific and purposeful practise in a safe, friendly, empathetic and  supportive environment. My aim is for riders to have fun in a session with me and become ‘drivers not survivors’! I am fascinated by the learning and skills acquisition process as well as the psychological aspect of developing confidence on a mountain bike and am constantly engaged in CPD to further my knowledge and experience in these fields and to stay up to date with modern mountain biking coaching thinking. My experience as a teacher, outdoor education instructor and a qualified L3 mountain bike leader means your learning environment can be anywhere from a skills area at a trail centre to a technical, steep, rocky bridleway in the mountains!
