The organisers of the Thetford Cyclo-Cross Enduro will also be running an Under 12’s Cyclo-Cross coaching session during the senior races at the event. This means that parents can leave their Under 12’s in the capable hands of qualified coaches whilst they compete in their own races.

There is also an Under 12’s race at the event that the young riders can tackle before the coaching session. Under 12’s attending the coaching should take a couple of bottles of a water based drink, a packed lunch and clothing suitable for the weather conditions. Ideally they should have a spare inner tube with them for the size of tyre they use. The coaching is free of charge if at least one parent is competing otherwise there will be a £5 charge.

The Eastern Cyclo-Cross Association are organising the event to raise money for their successful youth development programme.

Timber are a trail building and advocacy group looking after the trails in Thetford Forest and working closely with the Forestry commission to improve the cycling experience for all in this the largest lowland forest in the UK.
