Andrew Baum (Cwmcarn Paragon) raced to a win in the opener of the Welsh League with a display of total dominance.

The course was dry and fast with a good mix of grassy banks and short sections of technical woodland.

Baum finished nearly a minute ahead of junior Adam King (Cardiff JIF).
