Event: 31 October 2012
Location: National Watersports Centre, Nottingham
Report: Olympic Talent Development Programme

It’s that time of year again - autumn is quickly upon us and we’re dusting off our ‘cross bikes and getting stuck into the start of the Cyclo-Cross season. So, as usual the Olympic Talent Development programme is here to deliver another National School of Racing (NSR) for the discipline.

Taking place at the National Watersports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, near Nottingham, on Wednesday 31 October, the day promises to take riders through a wide range of racing skills, in preparation for the winter-long cyclo-cross racing campaign.

IMPORTANT: The Cyclo-Cross NSR is open to riders from birth years 2000, 1999, 1998 and 1997, which moves up a year from the NSRs we have held earlier in the year, as we are moving into a new ‘school year’ intake. The session costs £10 plus a 60p admin fee, and there are places for 30 Youth A boys, 30 youth B boys and 30 girls.

Entries will close when the categories are filled, on a first come first served basis. SO BE QUICK!! All entries close on Wednesday 17th October unless they are filled up before. Riders looking to take part should be looking to compete in at least their local cyclocross league and have some experience at club cyclocross coaching sessions. If you are in any doubt about whether you should enter, chat to your club coach.

If you’d like to take part in the session, please enter online here.

Once you have entered the session, all communication about details of the session will be done through the British Cycling online system, so please ensure your email address is correct!

If you are a coach from a Go-Ride club and would like to come along to the session, please contact Robin Sharman by email on robsharman@britishcycling.org.uk
