Location: Glengorm Castle, Tobermory, Isle of Mull
Event: 15 December 2013
Report: Snowdon Sports
Following up his Scottish Series win the day before, Bike Station Ballater’s Dan Whitehead was in unbeatable form again as he repeated his 2012 victory in the Isle of Mull CC’s Cross At The Castle 2 promotion.
Defying the strong winds and testing conditions, Whitehead set a storming pace to win from junior Harry Johnston (Team Thomsons Cycles) and Ewan Thorburn (Nevis Cycles RT).
Stevie Jackson (Glasgow United CC) rode away from the rest of the veterans field to also complete a weekend double – James Melville (Glasgow United CC) chasing down Gordon Dickson (Rockahrd MBC) on the last lap of the Glengorm Castle course to snatch second place.
