About the Event

Info for Riders

Follow us on Twitter @AutumnEpic The Autumn Epic is a 155km sportive on wonderfully scenic low-traffic roads in mid-Wales. The event has 2200m of climbing making it a really physical challenge as well as a great day out on the bike. There's an official short-cut which loses about 25km and 300m of climbing. Both routes are well-signed and have two food stops, electronic timing, mobile mechanics and first aid and photographer. Motorcycle marshals add an extra degree of safety en route and our broomwagons will pick up those whose legs or bikes are too tired to make it all the way round. There's an Autumn Epic souvenir and free food for everyone at the finish. The Autumn Epic takes place every year on the first Sunday in October. This year will be the event's 10th Anniversary. The event has a reputation for its friendly atmosphere and professional organisation. Both distances are the same price. You can choose which distance to ride on the road on the day.
