Event Overview

The long standing Sam Robinson Memorial road race will take place on Saturday 1st July 2017. The race HQ will be at Balfron High School with a 10.30am race start. This years route will be a new one which at times will be challenging, taking in the Lake of Mentieth, Aberfoyle, Dukes Pass climb, Callander, Braes of Greenock, Rob Roy roundabout, Strathblane, Lennoxtown, Crow Road climb, Fintry and finally finish back in Balfron for a welcome cup of tea and cake etc.

The route this year is fairly spread out and the race will probably split up, their will be a service car but it may be wise to carry a spare tube and pump just in case !

Ride sensibly , keep to the left , be safe , have a good race.
