Info for Riders

Women & Girls Rider Development sesssions provide dedicated coaching for people wanting to improve their cycling performance whether that is to ride further faster and more often with family and friends or to win bike races. Using traffic free facilities Go-Ride Coaches will help riders:

  • Ride with friends and others of similar ability
  • Develop bike handling techniques
  • Learn about group riding techniques and etiquette
  • Practice racing and learn about the demands of cycle sport
  • Develop cycling fitness
This session is a slightly more adanced session which is NOT suitable for 'complete' beginners. If unsure please ask... Sessions are delivered on a traffic free closed road circuit and ALL riders will be challenged (skills & physical) and maybe have a bit a fun too!? These 2 hour sessions are aimed at improving group riding skills and confidence - riding on a wheel and in close proximity to other riders, cornering and working efficiently together in group formations. You will be challenged both physically and technically in a safe and supportive non pressured environment. Non British Cycling Members are welcome to attend the first 2 sessions, after which you are encouraged to join British Cycling to continue to benefit from these sessions and additional benefits - https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/membership
