Event Overview

- A Track Club Cluster of Coaching session

- 10-16 years old. 

- Catered for riders who have some experience of track riding 2pm-6pm Session

- £5 (including admin fee)

- Bike hire can be obtained through Newport Live at Newport Velodrome Reception.

- Aimed at riders who would like to race and upskill their track riding through coached techniques, scenarios through coach led racing.

Each club cluster will have a different coaching outcomes progressing and focusing on different techniques and skills throughout the year.

- Parents are required to stay at the session.

About the Event

Info for Riders

- Please bring your own track bike in good working order or alternatively bike hire can be obtained from Newport Live at Newport Velodrome reception. NB: if you are bringing your track bike please have the correct crank length and suitable tyres to ride an indoor velodrome. 

- Please bring a helmet with no peak, gloves (these are essential). Open to riders 10-16 Years old. U12-U16 category. It is recommended to wear a light base layer undertneath cycling jerseys.

- Please turn up in good time to set up rollers, have rider briefing, signing on and getting ready for the session as the session will start promptly with riders on the track at 2pm prompt.
