Event Overview

The three brae’s hill climb is a three stage hilly time trial run over a 20 mile route from start to finish. The only times that are recorded are the three hill’s, adequate time will be given to reach the start of each hill and It is expect that every rider will ride between the stages. The time trial starts at Leggart terrace in Aberdeen and precedes up to Banchory Devenick a stage off 1.8 miles. The trail then proceeds to Lair hillock then cross the Netherley road and heads though Durris and onto Denside woods where the second stage takes place, a route of approx. 1.1 miles. A further six miles on and the final 1 mile climb starts at the foot of Cairn-mon-earn. All routes will be well sign posted around the route. All three hills will have individual men’s, ladies and junior prize, with a men’s, ladies and junior overall prize for the best combined times.
