Beastway 2018 is back for its 26th season. This is the original and best London MTB race series. Based at Hog Hill (Redbridge Cycling Centre) we have developed an extensive and interesting set of trails which give us a varied course each week. Racing lasts an hour, with all seniors going off in category waves. Youth & Juveniles join in after 15 or 20 minutes and all finish when the senior winner crosses the line. We also have an u10 & u12 race to start the evening.

You can expect close racing that's also skilful, fast and friendly. We've been developing young riders with our format for years and the old hands keep on coming back too. How many laps can you get around this week?

We are all volunteers. If you can spare time to help marshal, build the course or help us put it all away, we would really appreciate that. Where we get regular help we can award series points in lieu or offer you a free race. We also organise the Tour of the Cornfields off-road cyclocross sportive on Sunday 2 Sept.

Info for Riders

We have an u10 and u12 race before the main start. This should be finished by 19.10, which means you should just about have time to get a practice lap before the main start at 19:30. Youth and juveniles of suitable standard will be called to their start at around 19:50. Racing ends around 20:30.

With so many riders in a rush to get along on Wednesday evening, we try to leave the entry open until the last minute but this can cause delays. It's always better to make advance entry which costs you less. Pre-entry closes at 23:00 each Monday before Wednesday's race.
