About the Event

Info for Riders

Team veloccino has teamed up with the Wendover Spanish restaurant Tres Corazones to run a La Vuelta themed ride out in aid for Hector's House.

2 routes on offer. Idea - max 6 groups of max 10 riders with same speed.

It is not a race ... it is a ride-out with a lot of fun. We aim to put the groups together according to individual speed and riding ability. 

Routes

75KM - Out of Wendover, via Butler's Cross, up to Checquers, all the way straight via Cadsen towards Brill and back via Bishopstone. It will be 75 km enter if you can do this distance in about 3 hours.

30KM - Out of Wendover, right turn at the Russel Arms in Butler's Cross. We will wiggle ourselves through Bishopstone and loop back towards Stoke Mandeville and arrive finally back in Wendover. This route should be rideable for less regular riders in about 2 hours.

Timings 10:30 to 11.:00 meet for coffee and sign on. Start times for the groups ( to be back by 2:00pm)* Long route 1: start at 11:00 ( slowest group of long course riders) Long route 2: start at 11:10 Long route 3: start at 11:20 Long route 4: start at 11.30 ( fastest group of riders)  Short route 1: start at 11:45 (slowest riders) Short route 2: start at 12:00  (group of confident slow riders)
*assumption that we have 40 riders for 75KM and 20 for 30KM
Bring friends & family !

We should be back from the ride at about 2pm at our local Spanish restaurant Tres Corazones for a fantastic paella! We will have a little prize giving (best photo and so on) & an auction! 


So here is the deal ... if you can not attend the ride just pop down later to join us for a fantastic paella!

£5 for adults and £2.5 for the little ones (all goes to the Charity)
