ProMasters Series: The National Road Series for Masters
A new national road race series for riders 40-49(C/D) and 50+(E/F/G/H).
We want to make racing for masters tough, and safe.
6 races through the 2019 season, across the UK. Tough races, challenging circuits, under BC rules featuring 80 rider fields, supported by a full team of Accredited Marshals and NEG. Each race will be supported by professional Neutral Race Service.
Competitions include Overall Series Leader, King of the Mountains and Hot Spot Sprints jerseys, as well as a season-long team prize.
Overall series winner in each of the age categories C/D/E/F will win an expensed trip to the 2019 Tour of Mallorca for Masters to ride with the ProMasters Racing Team, including flights, half board accommodation (3* hotel), race entries and team race kit.
This inaugural series promises to be hard fought and tightly contested...

ProMasters Series: Round 4
The Circuit of the Wolds
Race distance of 125km.
Climbing 1200m
7.5 laps of the Hainton – Ludford Loop circuit in Lincolnshire.
This is a 16.58 km circuit in Market Rasen, United Kingdom. Each lap has a total ascent of 160.89 m and has a maximum elevation of 142.0 m.
This deceptive course on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB which is rolling and fast in parts, but features climbs that pack a punch and will take their toll as the race distance bites...A race distance of 125km and over 1200m of climbing makes this a course for the strong.
We considered calling this the event Wolds Earthquake GP when we read this on the Ludford village website…
The Earthquake in 2008
On 27 February 2008 at 00.26 Ludford was shaken by an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the richter scale. The earthquake was reported nationally as having its epicentre in Market Rasen.
However the location was later reported as being approximately 4 miles east of Market Rasen i.e.in Ludford. Luckily there was no damage within the village.
To commemorate the event the White Hart Inn commissioned a beer from a local microbrewery called Epicentre with an ABV of 5.2% to match the earthquake’s magnitude
