Event Overview

This event is the culmination of the Scottish Cycling Mini DH Series, with the top two riders at each of the five series rounds qualifying for a ride. for 2019, the top rider in the U18 category at each round will also qualify.

The race will take place on the mini-DH course at the Fort William MTB World Cup.

Entry is by invite only.

Event Timetable*:

09.00 – 10.00 Rider registration in front of podium
09.00 – 10.25 Training on course
10.30 – First run
11.30 – Second run
After end of Junior Men qualification – 13.30 Prize giving

Riders must pre-enter online. When asked if you wish to be listed as a reserve, click 'no'.

Please note: 

Transport
Due to the numbers attending and shortage of space there is no vehicle access beyond the checkpoint at the Rural
Complex. The best option for Mini DH competitors is to park at the Rural Complex, which is about 500m from the
World Cup Village. There is a £5 parking charge per vehicle. This parking is likely to fill up by 9.30 – 10.00.
Other options are:
• Ride in from Blar Mor Park and Ride on cycleway - quite a trek for the younger ones
• Use a van for bikes, while kids use shuttle bus (Shuttle bus system runs from town to Village)
• If groups are coming in minibuses we may be able to park them on the access road but they would need to
pre-book a vehicle pass for the Saturday.
