Event Overview

British Cycling’s development programme, HSBC UK Go-Ride, is now providing rider development sessions for women and girls, to help riders to build confidence and learn new cycling techniques in a relaxed and informal setting.

This is a 90 min coaching session designed to give women an introduction to road and criterium racing. This is part of a series of women's development sessions planned to encorage an increasd participation and build women's confidence to take the step into competitive racing. 

British Cycling would like to invite all women to join these cycling sessions and be part of a new generation of female riders.

The sessions give women and girls the opportunity to:

  • Ride with friends and others of similar ability
  • Develop bike handling techniques
  • Learn about group riding techniques and etiquette
  • Develop cycling fitness


The coaching session is for Women and Girls over 16yrs old. 


We hope this may encourage some of you to take the first step into the cyclocross events within the region.
