Spring Go-Ride Event - 10th April 6 - 7:30


An open series for young cyclists aged 7 to 16 in Gloucestershire to join in a go-ride event. Riders will have the opportunity to take part in a number of age category races and enter a team relay event on the night.

Riders must ensure they have the following with them in order to take part:


  • a quality, well-fitting cycle helmet (children will not be permitted to participate otherwise)
  • a suitable bike for the location, which is a grass course, and it needs to be in good working order
  • appropriate clothing to cycle in and for the weather conditions (e.g. gloves, hats, waterproofs and hopefully at times sunscreen!)
  • additional clothing to keep warm and dry between activities
  • any medication they may require and the coach/event organiser knows where this is and how to use it (e.g. inhalers) along with a completed medical form
  • a water bottle and snacks
  • They must also be able to ride on grass and as a guide be able to ride for about 10 mintues without a break.

As this is a go-ride event the club request that parents and guardians are present for the duration. You can make arrangements to share responsibilities on the night, but please ensure that the coaches and event organisers are aware of who is has responsiblitiy.
