Event Overview
Under UCI regulations a Race Licence issued by British Cycling is required by all riders competing in the National Championships. Included in the entry fee for this event is a British Cycling silver membership and a race licence, both valid from 5th October-31st December.
No reduction in entry fee will be given to riders who already hold a Race Licence.
Please note that in order to receive the membership and race licence (and therefore enter the competition) riders must complete the declaration agreeing to the membership terms and conditions including byelaws, technical regulations, code of conduct, child protection and anti-doping policies of British Cycling.
For the British Open C1 international, a race licence issued by a UCI member federation (or the UCI directly) is required. The entry fee for this competition does not include a race licence.
Therefore, British riders who do not currently hold a race licence cannot enter just the C1 international competition. They must either enter both the National Championships and the C1 International or obtain a race licence separately to enter the C1 on its own.
