HSBC UK Go-Ride Holiday Coaching Camps offer training and education dedicated to specific levels of rider over a range of disciplines. Camps are available at two levels.

If your child is new to cycling or not a regular at a club or races then the beginner’s camps are for them. These offer the participant a chance to develop and become proficient at a range of core cycling and bike handling techniques that will prepare them for their first club session or race.

If your child has experience of racing and is a Go-Ride Club regular then there are advanced camps. There will be the chance to improve on the skills developed at their club as well as look at techniques across disciplines that will progress your child to the next level of their cycling journey.

Info for Riders

Level of Camp - Intermediate/Advanced riders

Suitable for - ages 10 -16

Cycling Disciplines Covered - MTB

What to expect - sessions will focus on developing essential MTB skills and preparing riders for racing for intermediate/advanced level riders.

The session is intended for riders who are already racing or are looking to race. You will have fun and be challenged physically & technically :)

Based at the excellent Sherwood Pines riders will have access to toilets, cafe, changing facilities, bike wash and classroom for occasional theory sessions.

The session will run from 10.00-1500. Sign on from 09.50.

Please bring 

Consent form: 

NOTE  Riders are expected to bring their own bikes in good working condition, fitted with FLAT pedals.  You must also bring clipless pedals to swap over later on in the session.

All riders must also bring a completed parental consent form (see link)

Helmets are compulsory.

Please also bring pack lunches, snacks, drinks and clothing suitable for the weather conditions, spare inner tubes, pump and relevant toolkit.

Think about food & drink and spare clothes for the journey home too!
