THE HHCC SANTINI BOVINGDON BOMBER 
HHCC run criterium racing at the popular HHCC Bovingdon Bomber Cycle Circuit. The Bomber is a 1km long smooth purpose built racing circuit. It is fast, flat, sweeping and technical and always produces good safe racing. We continue to be supported by our sponsors Santini Custom, Lovelo Cycleworks and Musette Café.

WEDNESDAY TIMETABLE (APPROXIMATE)
6:30pm Riders arrive & sign on (strictly no earlier)
6:50pm Circuit open
7:10pm Men's Race 
7.45 or 7:55pm Women's Race 

(full length races will be 45 mins and shorter length races 30 mins)

Entry £14 in advance 

Cash prizes for top three finishers on the night: 1st=£25   2nd=£15   3rd=£10.

KING & QUEEN OF THE BOMBER TROPHY & POINTS
Bomber points count towards the overall King & Queen trophies and will be issued on the 7 championship nights (ie. the category 2/3 nights) only. Your best 6 results will count towards your final score. Bomber points will match BC points ie. 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1 and in the unlikely event of less than 10 riders Bomber points will still apply.

Sprint primes will be available at the championship rounds and are worth 3,2,1 Bomber points & £10 cash – one per race and not in first 5 or last 5 laps.

The King & Queen of The Bomber receive the Title, Trophy & £250 cash 

ST JOHNS AMBULANCE
Although we have an excellent safety record at the Bomber, St. Johns Ambulance are always present at our races.

The HHCC Bovingdon Bomber Cycle Circuit, Driftlimits, Upper Bourne End Lane, Bovingdon Airfield, Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP1 2RR.

Plug HP1 2RR into your sat-nav.

ACCESS BY CAR
If coming by car then access is from the A41 ONLY. You need to leave the A41 at the Services (McDonalds) junction between Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted/Chesham and head up Upper Bourne End Lane which is a right turn off the northbound slip road.

ACCESS BY BIKE
Access by bike is through the industrial area up Bourne End Lane off the London Road in Bourne End. Turn by Complete Outdoors shop and head up through the restriction to the roundabout where you need to turn left, go under the bridge and turn right then and head up Upper Bourne End Lane. Note the surface up this road is particularly bad and punctures are frequent.

At the top of Upper Bourne End Lane you need to head right and look for the car park 200 meters further up on the left. The circuit is shared with the car drifting company 'Driftlimits'.

There is no access through the main Bovingdon Market entrance on the Chesham Road.

We are a 10/15 minute ride from Hemel Hempstead train station if you are coming from London
