This is a development XCTT event to allow riders of all abilities to develop skill and race craft.  The purpose of the event is to help East Midland Riders brush off the cobwebs and get racing before the first National Series event in April.  The event will be held on the Pickworth Plot Trails at Doddington Hall. Doddington Hall, Giant Store, Doddington LN6 4RU 

The race will be in a time trial format with four riders going off and time taken, up to four riders at a time.  The event will be informal to allow people to get into MTB XCO.  

Pickworth Plot is relatively flat and easy to ride, so is ideal for beginners, but testing enough to allow advanced riders to be pushed

Online and shop entries, first come first serve. 

Riders will be divided into under 14 and over 14's. 

Juvenile riders must be turning 12 on the year of the race.

No helmet no ride

Under 14's will do three laps 

Over 14's will do six laps 

Parking will be at Doddington Hall Giant Shop and rider must head up along the bridal way towards Pickworth Plot.  Spectators must head towards viewing points on the course.  Marshalls will assist on the day.  Toilets can be accessed at the Giant Doddington Shop Cafe'.  Dogs must please be kept on a lead.

Registration and sign on will take place the Giant Store Lincoln at Doddington Hall and will be open from 08:00, and close at 11:45 on the day of the race.  Racing will start at 13:00 with the course being closed from 12:45. Please see the map to show how to get from the bike shop to Pickworth and how to get to the start.  For safety reasons late arrives will not be accepted onto the course.

The event will be run in conjunction with the Mountain Bike TDC at Doddington Hall in the morning.

Supporting parents must please make their way to one of the viewing points on the course.  Juvenile riders must be competent enough to ride on their own.
