Racing returns to Carlisle! This is a stand alone Test Event to get everyone back into the swing of things before our main Thursday night series begins in April.

We will be holding two races with electronic chip timing on our modern  purpose built 1km closed circuit which is easily accessible from Junction 42 or 43 of the M6. We look forward to welcoming friends old and new for an evening of friendly competition.

The first race is for Cat 3 and 4 riders and the second race is open to Elite, Cat 1, 2 and 3 riders. Women of any category are welcome to ride in the  Cat 3/4 race and Women's results will be published separately.  Discounted entry to both races is available to any Cat 3 men  or Women of Cat 3 and above who wish to ride twice.

Riders who do not hold a full race licence/are not members of British Cycling may enter the first race only, on payment of an extra fee for a day licence. Day licence fees are included in the online entry costs but will need to be added to the "on the night" fee.

Pre entry online is preferred though entry on the night will be available at an additional cost if space allows. Pre entry saves time on the night and allows us to allocate race numbers and transponders in advance, as well as helping to reduce the risk of Covid transmission. Please enter in advance if you possibly can.

Covid restrictions have now been lifted in England and self isolation is no longer a legal requirement. However we ask that you continue to treat your fellow riders and our volunteers with consideration and do not attend if you know or suspect you are infected with  Covid-19. Please respect the personal space of others and practice good hand and respiratory hygiene at all times. Hand sanitiser will be available. 

A race manual will be emailed to all riders who pre enter online.
