Scarborough Cycling Festival Go Mountain Bike 2022

Event Overview

A Come and Try It Cross-country eliminator (XCE) is a  mountain bike race format in which four riders compete against each other in each heat, similar to Four-cross. The two fastest riders get to the next round while the two slower riders are eliminated from the race.

ENTRY IS IN ADVANCE ONLY and closes Sunday 3rd July 2022 at 23.55 

The format differs from the classic cross-country race both in its sprint character and the separation of the race into heats.

This is part of a festival weekend including a round of the National Youth Circuit Championships and a Hill Climb on the Sunday.

Due to a collapsed building on our usual entrance to the car park and the camping field, all vehicles will have to access the site by the Mere entrance. There is a bridge with a maximum clearance of 11 feet so please ensure your vehicle is under this height to include aerials, satellite dishes etc.

There is a parking fee of £3.50 in advance or £5 on the day of the Sunday Race 10th July, On the Sunday, there will be set times for accessing and leaving the circuit due to a permanent road closure. Times are: Before 8.45  between 12.30 and 13.30 and 17.00-17.30 and anytime after 19.00. There are no restrictions on other days.
