Event Overview

This will follow the format of a go-ride event so all youth riders will have 2 opportunities to race. It is a chance for novice riders to have a go at a circuit race in a friendly environment before the West Midlands circuit race series starts. While the event is open to all riders, if there are more experienced riders taking part then can they please be aware of novice riders and try to make this an enjoyable day of racing to encourage more riders to race across the West Midlands

 

The course will open at 10:00 for practice. Racing starts at 10:30.

 

Entry will close at 15:00 the day before the race. 

 

Results and prizes for the youth riders will be given out on the day

 

ONLINE ENTRY ONLY, THERE WILL BE NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY

Info for Riders

To confirm the event is on the 18th March despite the fact that there are different dates listed on the website. We are trying to get this fixed

 

Age categories:

 

Youth A (U16): 2007-2008

Youth B (U14): 2009-2010

Youth C (U12): 2011-2012

Youth D (U10): 2013-2014

Youth E (U8): 2015-2019

 

There is a novice adult race that is designed for adults to have a go at their first race in a different discipline or to gain confidence. If this is not you then please have a look for a different race as we are trying to promote a nice environment for beginner races across the area.

 

There are a small number of bikes available to use if you would like to have a go at racing but do not have a suitable bike. If you would like to borrow one please email me separately so that I can arrange this with you.

 

If youth riders would like to race in a different age category to have a more interesting race please enter into the category for their age and send me an email separately and I will move the rider into a different category if I feel it is appropriate.

 

We may adjust the limit on the races depending on interest
