The 41st edition of the Junior Tour of Wales combines all the classic elements with some exciting new ones to provide the ultimate test for junior riders. With the removal of the gear restriction, we're likely to see the fastest race ever, but the parcours will test every aspect of your riding.

The race gets underway with the opening prologue TT to the western summit of the Tumble on Friday evening. TT bikes *are* allowed - but remember that the course includes two stiff climbs, including the final 1.3km KoM ascent to the finish, so choose your weapon carefully.

Saturday's long road race sees a new beginning - with the stage now starting in the county of Powys before heading west to the summit of the Black Mountain, visited for the very first time last year and conquered by eventual race winner Noah Hobbs.

Sunday sees the race continue its successful stay in Carmarthenshire, with the smooth and flowing Pembrey Country Park circuit race in the morning, and the rouleur/sprinter's stage around the picturesque Towy Valley in the afternoon.

Monday's stage starts in Brynmawr and heads south east towards Chepstow as the sprinters finalise the battle for the Green Jersey, before the traditional, final climb of the Tumble.

There is something for every type of rider - but only the best will triumph.
