About the Event

Info for Riders

This advanced coaching session is aimed at riders in age categories youth B (U14), youth A (U16) and junior (U18), who are intending to race Scottish series and National Trophy level events this season, and who have a good level of existing experience in cyclo-cross.

This session will focus on technical development and race craft. Using the Irvine race course to consider the technical, tactical and physical approach riders will require for the Scottish series event taking place at the same venue the day after.   

Please note: This session is 3 hours in duration to ensure riders are not fatigued ahead of the series race on Sunday 1st.

To attend this session riders must be able to demonstrate an existing commitment to cyclo-cross, either through previous race experience at Scottish level or higher and/or attendance at previous regional/national coaching sessions. 

More information will be emailed to you prior to the session, including the parental consent form that will need to be completed and returned prior to the session. The session will be subject to all Covid-19 protocols and mitigation as appropriate at the time of the session, in order to maintain a safe coaching environment.
