Racing for all ages up to Cat A - (approx 16 and under) we are hoping to run an event every month during the season.  

 

The first event will be on the Bowls inner circuit only.

 

The race is a standalone event but Riders who enter at least 3 events during the season as Part of our development series will be entered into a series culminating in crowning the Youth King and Queen of the Bowl.

 

Participation Emphasis: The heart of the Milton Keynes Youth Development Races lies in encouraging participation. Every cyclist, regardless of experience, is welcome to join and showcase their passion for the sport. It's not all just about winning; it's about being part of a community that shares the love for cycling.

Info for Riders

Registration will open at 1:15pm and will close 30 minutes before the final race at 3:10pm

 

ENTRY ON THE DAY IS AVAILABLE

 

Revised Timetable for today will be:

14:00 U8

14:15 U10

14:35 U12

15:15 Open U14, U16 

15:50 Girls U14, U16

 

Please be at the start 5 minutes before the published start time.

We will endeavour to keep to the published timings but given the amount of racing this is not always possible, but we will not start races early!

We have to ask that you remain off the circuit until you are called to the start line. It is not always possible to ride the circuit between races to warm up, there will be a formation lap to allow people to see the circuit before racing.

GIRLS RACES (Cat A and B)

It is our philosophy to  give Female racers the opportunity to race alone, this can be a challenge given the variable number of racers.

The plan is to race the U14 and U16s girls together after the as the last race. 

If we do not have enough to constitute a Peloton ( a combined approx 10-15) we will run them with the U14 Boys at the earlier time. We will make the decision on the Friday before the event.

On the flip of this if we get enough entries to run the U14 and U16 we will do this also.

Races will commence after the Adult races that are due to finish by 2pm.

 

If using rollers please be considerate to Organisers, Commissaires, other racers and spectators. 

DO NOT CROWD THE START LINE WHILE THE PREVIOUS RACE IS RUNNING!

 

Entry to the Circuit will be via the Watling Street entrance.
