Event Overview
Classic "Old School" Cross country course around Crombie Country Park:

The event is for over 18's, all categories.
Racing will start from 11:00, race program to follow once numbers confirmed
- Approx. 1.5hr race, of approx. 5-6 laps for seniors.
- The 6.3 km course uses a mixture of technical single track sections through ancient forest.
- It features newly built "Short North Shore Sections" over bogs and streams.
- Has natural features including tree roots and undulating boggy ground though out.
- Technical sections are linked by grassland paths and fast gravel sections.

- Don't be fooled by the elevation profile, this is a challenging course and will test all abilities.
Grass routes racing aimed at adults for the first run out of the our new event.
Suitable for Seasoned Racers, License Point Hunters, Have a Go First XC Race, or Race Training for other events including the up and coming Scottish National XC Champs and the SCX series.

Info for Riders
Course will be open from 0930 to 1030 for Familiarization
Race will be based out of the Crombie Ranger Station as the Event Hub
Dundee Thistle will provide Coffee/Tea/Water and Soup and Home Bakes
Rangers Station has Changing Facility, Toilets, Covered Seating Area (gazebo)
Car Parking with Over Flow at Monikie Country Park (3 miles away - good warm up)
Saturday Night Camping Available on first come first served basis. £5 per pitch cash (from 1800)
