Event Overview
Welcome to the Tour de l'Avenir West Midlands, the race for the future.
Featuring three stages in ten categories over two days, this promises to be an exciting new addition to the youth racing calendar - and with plenty of other off-the-bike activities - a whole lot of fun.
League points for riders competing in the West Midlands Youth Circuit Series.
Leaders' jerseys will be awarded in each category after each stage.
Each category is supported by a professional rider from the West Midlands (who have all raced at Tudor Grange). Follow in the footsteps of some amazing talent - the Tour de l'Avenir is for the talent of tomorrow.

There will be separate girls and open competitions in each age band from under-8s to under-16s. We will start the event with a short prologue time trial on Saturday morning on the purpose-built closed circuit at Tudor Grange in Solihull, followed by a much longer endurance race in the afternoon.
On Sunday, we will have a longer race on an exciting new venue - the prestigious Jaguar Land Rover test track at Fen End.

About the Event
Info for Riders
Day one - Saturday 29th June 2024
Racing on the purpose-built cycle circuit at Tudor Grange park in Solihull, we start with a prologue time trial in the morning. The afternoon will feature a circuit race for each category.
We will also have plenty of other things going on to keep you busy.

- The Floor-Is-Lava-Tag
- Stalls
- Bike mechanic
- DJ offering DJing classes
- The Little Camion - fresh coffee and crepes
- Free prize draw open to every entrant
Day two - Sunday 30th June 2024
Racing on the famous Jaguar Land Rover test track at Fen End, we will have a challenging longer-than usual circuit race to really test riders.
Entry selection
Should any category be over-subscribed, selection will be at the organiser's discretion.
Equipment
The event is held under British Cycling Technical Regulations. All cycles will be gear-checked and rim depths checked. Road bikes only. Pointy hats, disc wheels and tribars will not be permitted in any Stage.
ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON SUNDAY 23rd JUNE 2024.
