British Cycling Pathway Development Centre BMX - East Anglia #13 - Group 1

The Development Centre Coaching sessions are for BMX EAST FIRST CLUB RIDERS WHO HAVE QUALIFIED FOR THE BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024 ONLY.

These Pre Brits prep sessions will now include a session for 12 and unders who have an interest in looking at the Olympic Development pathway.

The sessions will be aimed at race lines on the Derby track, appropriate techniques for each straight, gate starts and linking laps. Riders will receive individual feedback on their performance and personal development plan.

The sessions will be delivered by Julian Allen (Jools) and Gavin Stokes from XLR8 Bike School/Braintree BMX Club in partnership with the club coaches from around the region. Jools and Gav have been involved with the RSR pathway since 2011 and have a wealth of experience in rider development and progression.

Info for Riders

All riders must be a first club member of a BMX East club.

All riders must have qualified for the British Championships 2024.

 All riders must have a willingness to progress.

All riders must have a suitable level of enthusiasm and self motivation.

All riders should have a well maintained bike, ready for a session and have the appropriate tools to carry out any repairs that may occur.

All riders must have their own race kit and protective clothing for each session.

All riders can bring there own kit bag and equipment needed for the session.
