Event Overview
The Silverstone 24 is a 24 hour cycling challenge using the Grand Prix circuit at the prestigious 'Silverstone Circuit'. Entries will be open to solo riders and for teams of up to 4 cyclists, with a maximum of 2 support team members (per team).
The venue is fully accessible on and off the circuit, enabling this event to be open to both disabled and able bodied cyclists. We encourage cyclists of all abilities to get involved in this unique event!
The ride encapsulates the buzz of event day at this world famous circuit, taking in Hangar Straight, Becketts, Maggots as well as using the famous Pit Lane and garages, just as Lewis and Jenson do! There are many benefits to signing up to this brand new and exciting event...
Every Team or Solo rider will:
- Experience first hand what it is like to cycle on the famous circuit
- Use the official pit garages to store bikes and accessories
- Utilise the space within the magnificant 'Wing' running alongside the pit lane
- Receive high quality mechanical assistance when required within the garages
- Have access to Massage and Physiotherapy
- Have access to hot showers throughout the event
- Have access to sleeping zones
- Utilise the high quality chip timing system
- Be able to view live results on giant trackside screen and on multiple TV's accross the venue
- Have access to free Wi-Fi throughout the event
- Have access to social zones throughout the event
- Receive high quality cycling jersey as part of the entry fee
- Receive rider information pack & training advice
- Gain access to the official Podium for presentations, prize giving and photo opportunities
The 'Event Village' will be set up within 'The Wing' and Paddock, Silverstones brand new, state of the art faciltity, the size of five exhibition halls, and home, once a year, to the worlds finest motor racing teams. Within this fantastic facility, the following will be available to all riders & support crew:
- Sleeping Zones
- Hot Showers
- Food & Drink
- Massage & Physiotherapy
- Social Zone
- Workshops
- Exclusive exhibition
- Garages (opening onto the pit lane)
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the venue
- Live results and event information on multiple TV's accross the venue
