The female veteran's race was won by last year's series runner up, Julie Nimmo (Walkers CC) from Miranda Balfour (PCC) and Morna Hassan, competing in her first ever MTB race, finished 3rd. The masters race was dominated by English visitors with Anthony Morris (Evans Cycles) taking the win from Keith Murray (Hope Factory Racing) with last year's series winner, Paul McInally (Rock & Road Cycles) finishing 3rd. Kate Carmichael won the female master's race from Tracy Munro (Square Wheels) and Samantha Dainty (Ticket2rRideBC)

SXC newcomer, Elke Schmidt (Squadra Porcini) finished in 3rd. In the elite men's race, the winner of last year's series opener, Paul Oldham (Hope Factory Racing) led from the start but in the early stages was closely followed by 2009 British junior champion, 17 year old Kenta Gallagher (Scott UK).
