I am a member of a cycling club. Do I also need British Cycling membership?
It is important for club members to also be members of British Cycling. Without British Cycling membership, you do not have liability insurance to take part in club activities. British Cycling membership gives you year-round peace-of-mind, liability insurance and legal cover, plus, great discounts, priority tickets to top events and loads of regular expert advice from the people behind the Great Britain Cycling Team.
What’s more, your membership helps us to invest in getting more people into cycling through children’s programmes, traffic-free cycling facilities and support for volunteers and coaches. Our commitment to transforming Britain into a great cycling nation means that all membership fees are invested back into developing cycling.
As a British Cycling member, you will be in good company. More than 130,000 people like you are British Cycling members, ranging from Olympic and Tour de France champions to everyday commuters, club cyclists and families.
