Ridesmart was launched in response to the ever increasing popularity of sportives, to help recreational cyclists improve all aspects of their riding.
With over 100,000 entries into sportives in each of the last two years, the series of videos intend to educate riders participating in sportive events, training or just everyday cycling on the public highway, about the need to ride safely and responsibly.
How can you Ridesmart?
- As well as your own safety, look, think and communicate with the other riders around you
- When you are riding on open roads, be alert to the vehicles you share the road with – ride responsibly and respect other road users
- Pass on knowledge to less experienced riders by promoting good etiquette and technique, highlighting the need for everyone to Ridesmart
