Southdowns Bikes rider Matthew Bubear took victory in the latest round of the Surrey League’s Fourth Cat Series at Dunsfold Park on Friday, topping a podium dominated by veteran riders.
The 42-year-old from West Sussex took the win ahead of another 42-year-old, Guildford-based David Emery (WyndyMilla), while the final vet on the podium was 41-year-old Jason Ginn (Team ASL 360).
Further down the field, Ruth Clifton (London Dynamo) was the first woman across the line in 19th spot.
