Location: Warter, East Riding of Yorkshire
Event: 8 July 2012
Report: Snowdon Sports
Scoring his second win of the year, Oldham junior Joshua Ferguson (Team Wheelguru) sprinted home at the head of the bunch for victory in the 40-mile Wilsons wheels road race for third and fourth categories.
The hilly nature of the Warter circuit, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, unusually failed to split the field and left a 30-plus group to contest the finish with 18-year-old Ferguson taking the verdict from Callum Grieve (Loughborough Students CC), 19, and veteran Sean Smith (Halifax Imperial Wheelers).
Result:
1 Joshua Ferguson (Team Wheelguru)
2 Callum Grieve (Loughborough Students CC)
3 Sean Smith (Halifax Imperial Wheelers)
4 Jon Wolff (Sheffrec CC)
5 Thomas Walsh (Lancashire RC)
6 Jacob Trotter (Squadra RT)
7 Stephen Bottomley (Crosstrax)
8 Will Glover (Sheffrec CC)
9 Jason Livesey (Dirtwheels Cycles)
10 Paul Drop (Wilsons Wheels RT)
