Richard Moore (Squadra RT) took a comfortable victory after 11 laps of racing at Wistow near Selby on Easter Sunday.
Nine riders got away from the bunch on the second lap and worked well together, gradually increasing their lead lap-on-lap until it reached 2:20.
But as the race wore on, the chasers pulled them back and the race broke up further and as the top three of Moore, Dean Parkes (Clay Cross RT) and Dominic Smith (Retford and District Wheelers) approached the home straight, it was Moore that powered away with 500m to go and took victory by 11 seconds.
In the support race, Jonathan Wolff (Sheffrec CC), Paul Allen (Dinnington RC) and Tony Grassby (Peak RC) hit the front early on and had a lead of 21 seconds by lap four.
The trio were still together come the end of the race and it was Wolff who had enough in the tank to beat his opponents to the line.
