All-rounder David Wilby (Ross-Shire RCC) denied Allan Sutherland a weekend double in Caithness CC’s Loch Calder Hilly 23-mile time trial, near Thurso, which took place under cloudless skies and in windless conditions.
Wilby, 33, who mixes time trials with mountain biking, cyclo-cross and triathlons, clocked 56-17 to beat Sutherland (Caithness CC) by 24 seconds.
