Continuing in winning ways, Ben Peacock (Paisley Velo RT) powered to an impressive victory in Inverclyde Velo’s open 25-mile time trial over a Bishopton-based circuit incorporating the fast Westferry ‘10’ course.
Making the most of the warm conditions with only a slight breeze, the 31-year-old Glasgow-based rider clocked 51-33 for a winning margin of 27 seconds over Alan Thomson (Sandy Wallace Cycles).
