After finding one too good for him in his last two open events, Jim Cusick (Glasgow Couriers) stepped up to win Cromarty Firth CC’s Iain Longbotham Memorial 25-mile time trial in an event record 54-08.
The 47-year-old, from Glasgow, had a winning margin of nearly one and a half minutes over second-placed James Millar (Moray Firth CC) on a flat calm morning which saw some riders bemoaning the lack of any wind.
