Report: Snowdon Sports

In-form Sandy Wallace Cycles rider Silas Goldsworthy took his second victory in two days as he won Sunday’s Forres CC 25-Mile time trial.

The 26-year-old Balerno racer was a clear winner, stopping the clock at 53:58, two minutes and 43 seconds quicker than second-placed Brian Widdison (Moray Firth CC). Veteran Mark Ewing (West Lothian Clarion) was third and top lady was Julie Erskine (Granite City RT).

This stunning win comes on the back of Saturday’s win in the Bill Stuart Memorial 10 – a title which he has retained from last year.

It also comes hot on the heels of victory in the Corrieri Classic back in March and second place in the Tour of the Meldons.
