The weather has taken a turn for the better over recent days and for anyone looking for a challenging cycle ride this bank holiday weekend, incorporating classic views of the Malvern Hills should consider the new Malvern Views Sportive.
For anyone that has not pre-entered the organisers, AJB Sports Events, are offering entry on the day. Cost for entry on the day will be £20. Registration and sign-on will be open from 7.30 am.
The sportive route winds its way through the picturesque countryside surrounding the Malvern Hills, with six featured climbs including Hollybush, Evendine Lane, and Snailbank, totaling some 1440 metres of climbing and giving some stunning views across the local landscape.
There will be a well stocked feed station at Alfrick to keep the energy levels topped up prior to the return leg on the 100km route as it meanders through the quiet and scenic country roads in the Three Counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
