After an incredibly successful first year with over 600 riders and a raft of great feedback, Nelson's Tour de Test Valley is back bigger and better for 2014.

If you've got a slot in your sportive calendar on Saturday September 20, look no further than this event - offering cracking rides for any level of cyclist in the stunning Test Valley and amazing hospitality to fuel those legs and keep you smiling, it's well worth the effort.

Don't take our word for it, here's what Cycling Weekly had to say about it;

"I have to say the Tour de Test Valley ride was one of the best sportives I’ve ever done. From the festival vibe on the field at 7am, via the beautiful route, friendly feed-stations, top-notch signing and en route camaraderie, to the genuinely welcoming atmosphere at the finish, I really couldn’t fault it.”
David Else, Cycling Weekly journalist.

Cyclists can choose from 25, 50 and 100-mile distances. The three routes are all on quiet roads, allowing riders to enjoy the spectacular scenery, are impeccably signed, have well stocked feed stations and offer mechanical/safety support on all routes.

The events main challenge, the 100 mile full monte ride tips the altimeter at nearly 6000-feet of climbing, tackling iconic climbs such as the punchy Combe Gibbet, but don’t fret; it also offers some fast sweeping descents.

All riders will receive a delicious free hot meal on finishing, and a goodie bag brimming with cycling swag. There's also a bar at ride HQ to toast your success and rehydrate.

The event is in loving memory of pro-snowboarder and keen cyclist, Nelson Pratt who died in 2012. The sportive is for charity with 100% of all profits going directly to registered charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).

CALM exists to tackle male suicide, currently the single biggest killer of young men in the UK right now. 77% of suicides are male, with a startling average of three men a day taking their lives. This has to change and CALM needs your help.

Organisers can't wait to welcome riders to the Test Valley and show you what they believe are some of the finest bits of cycling tarmac in the UK.
