2025 UCI BMX World Challenge Championships - Copenhagen

2025 Qualification Criteria

2025 QUALIFIED RIDER LIST WILL BE AVAILABLE IN DUE COURSE.

The 2025 BMX World Challenge Championships will take place in Copenhagen (DEN), between 28 July-03 Aug 2025. Please note this has changed since the initial qualification document was produced.

The technical guide and event schedule will appear on the UCI website in due course

It is mandatory for riders to wear the GBR national jersey - details available in due course.

 

There is a total of 16 positions available, as designated by the UCI in each of the following classes:

20”

Boys – ages; 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 

Girls – ages; 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16

Men – ages; 17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35 and over

Women – ages; 17-24, 25 and over

CRUISER

Boys – ages; 12 and under, 13-14, 15-16

Girls – ages; 12 and under, 13-16

Men – ages; 17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50 and over

Women – ages; 17-29, 30-39, 40 and over

 

APPLICATIONS

Riders who have not qualified automatically, who wish to be considered for a discretionary place, or riders in age 9, 17-24, 35+ Male and 50+ categories (in 2025) must apply by completing the relevant online application form.

 

Online applications will be avilable here in January 2025.

Applications will be reviewed once the application window has closed and applicants will be informed of the outcome in February.

January 2025                Applications for 17-24, riders borm 2014 and discretionary places close

February 2025              Confirmation of discretionary places

March 2025                   Online Entry Opens
