Qualified BMX coaches can now secure an endorsement to their qualification to coach on tracks with an 8m hill.
About the course
This online module is essential for any coach wishing to use an 8m start hill in their coaching sessions. The existing Level 2 BMX discipline-specific award covers coaching on BMX tracks and the use of a 5m start hill. By completing this additional piece of training, coaches will be able to extend their remit to include the use of the 8m hill.
The course combines a series of short videos and a downloadable summary to look at rider pre-requisites, safety, technique and appropriate progressions. It should take around 30 minutes to complete, but can be approached either in small chunks or all at once.
What do I need to register?
Anyone can register but the endorsement on the qualification will only extend to qualified British Cycling BMX coaches.

Just click on the link below to enrol. Registration is £34.99 and once registered you will be given access to the course within five days and notified by email. You will have 30 days to complete the course.
On completion of the award, you will be able to download a certificate of attendance.
If you are a qualified Level 2 BMX coach we will update your license (provided you meet the necessary prerequisites, see section two of the Guidelines for Coaching Cycling).
