Ready Set Ride is British Cycling’s learn-to-ride programme for parents, teachers and volunteers including off the bike, balance bike and pedalling activities.
About the course
In this elearning module, you will learn more about Ready Set Ride and how you can deliver it effectively to children – whether your own children or delivering it in a club, school or as part of community activities.
You will develop an understanding of child development, how to create a safe environment and then how to deliver the activities, including challenging riders and developing their physical, social, emotional, creative and thinking skills.
The course contains videos, resources and a quiz at the end to check your understanding.

What do I need to register?
Anyone can register for this course and it would be most beneficial for those with children, or those who currently work or aspire to work with children.
