Scottish Cycling North East (Grampian) & (Tayside & Fife) were formally established at the end of 2014 and early 2015.

Given the geographical logistics of the area, the North East Region has 2 sub-Regional Development Groups -

Scottish Cycling North East (Grampian), this comprises of the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire local authorities.

Scottish Cycling North East (Tayside and Fife), this comprises of the four local authority areas of Angus, Dundee City, Perth and Kinross and Fife
